Literacy Activity Builder is a 'must-have' teacher resource that provides a set of template-based tools that make it easy to create your own content for literacy lessons - quickly, simply and effectively.

The program utilises the wizard approach which allows teachers to enter their own content into any of the nine activity frameworks and build their own literacy activities in no time. A simple click of the mouse delivers professional-looking resources, ideal for use with the whole class using an interactive whiteboard or for small groups or individual pupils working on their own.

In addition, teachers can choose from over sixty sample activities and the tutorial video guides to help them get started. Teachers can be confident that each literacy activity has a professional finish - so that their focus is on the Literacy lesson without technology getting in the way.

Literacy Activity Builder enables teachers to print all activities as worksheets or paper-based exercises and using the import feature, these can be shared amongst colleagues. Furthermore, teachers may also publish their activities in html, executable (exe.), or SCORM 1.2 formats for use on a school website or virtual learning environment.

Teachers can choose from nine activities: Punctuation, Ordering, Multiple-Choice, Gap Fill, Matching, Sort, Word Search, Snap and Identify.

"Literacy Activity Builder ... allows you to create more imaginative and professional looking lessons with relative ease. You have total control over the content. You simply input the text and with a click of a button the program does the rest - no more worries about design and presentation. It's a great resource for teachers to get to grips with the interactive whiteboard and to support their teaching of literacy." Aidan Lennon, Advisory Officer for Literacy and ICT (SELB)
