Numeracy Activity Builder is the second in a series of new teacher tools from BlackCat. This ground-breaking resource has been designed to make it easy to create high quality, ICT-based activities to support your numeracy lessons.

Using the same wizard approach as the Literacy resource it allows you to quickly and easily enter your own content into any of the nine activity frameworks. A simple click of the mouse delivers professional-looking numeracy activities, ideal for use with the whole class on an interactive whiteboard, small groups or individual children.  

To get you started there are 300 sample activities and 14 tutorial videos to choose from. Once the content has been added you can print the activities as worksheets or paper-based games. Furthermore, you can also publish your activities in html, executable (exe.), or SCORM 1.2 formats for use on a school website or virtual learning environment.

In response to feedback from Literacy Activity Builder users, we have added some new features such as, a choice of fonts in play mode, the option to personalise reward messages for individual pupils and the facility to enter your own content in another language i.e. French, Welsh etc.
