Painter 2 is an ideal first program for producing artwork on a computer.

The program offers a whole range of different brushes including crayon and spray. An eraser tool is included along with flood fill and a selection of regular shapes.

The teacher has the ability to adapt the look of the program so that various features can be hidden. QCA ICT Units 2B, Creating Pictures and 4B, Developing images using repeating patterns.

You can use Painter 2 to:

• Apply tile and symmetry effects at the touch of a button
• Export pictures you have created to the Writer 2 and Turtle programs
• Multiple undo and redo.
